things that make me happy:
1. college weekends
2. the anticipation of reading a new book after you buy it.
3. thrift stores (salvation army and goodwill)
4. seeing pk and krista in one week
5. when you wake up and you think you have to get up for class but you look at the clock and realize you can sleep for like 5 more hours.
6. constellations (oriens belt is the bomb)
7. writing in my paper journal and filling it up!
8. crocs.
9. starbucks (iced caramel macchiatto, caramel frappucino, or pumpkin spiced latte)
10. taking really good pictures
11. the feel of jeans or pj pants on freshly shaven legs
12. good hair days
13. the moment all my laundry is done.
14. the first snowfall.
15. going to shows - especially when you really love the band
16. winter clothes
17. road trips with friends
18. freshly baked goods
19. laughing until you are crying and your sides hurt.

today is pk's birthday and i love her and i miss her!
i made her the gnarliest bday entry but it's in greatestjournal so you miss out dykes.
but um. i'm in nashville.
and i move into college tomorrow.
and that's kind of scary??????????
but kind of cool?????
i don't know all i know is that i miss everyone!
but i'm going to take things as they come.

prom was so effing fun last night i can't believe i ever even considered not going (credit goes to pk OKAY)
we didn't do all the 'poses' we wanted to, but we did some of them.
there's nothing better than just dancing with your best friends...like....it's just so chill.
and everyone looked so pretty. it was ridiculous
and everyone who had dates had really cute dates.
and mr cronan was really happy with the night unlike at cotillion.
and the teachers and administration at our school are on crack.
and this photographer 'for the yearbook' took oh about a million pictures of us. like just us. we're that hott i guess.
the limo was so dope even though we ended up free falling in meg's driveway haha.
the dessert place was interesting but some european creeps were like 'goodnight beautiful ladies! you look so gorgeous!' when we left. plus they had good hot chocolate.
after prom me and bug were so effing delirious we quoted zoolander for a good ten minutes.
there was quoting of wet hot
there was would you date with the cast of snl
and there was plenty of laughing.
me and pk talked about hbc for a good hour and got really jelly and mad and went to sleep lmao.

i wish that i could claim these words as my own, but they've come from someone that understands this world far better than i could ever imagine. in a time of disposable love and faith based upon circumstance, a time where we'd rather watch someone else's life broadcast on our television than take part in our own triumphs & tragedies, a time where i know that i'm not the only one that has a need that no perscription or product can even begin to fulfill......i'll never claim to have any of the answers, only the same questions as everyone else. take joy in being ignorant with me, for ignorance is bliss. i was once told that what seperates intelligence and genius is realizing how little you really know & what seperates faith and blindness is a thing called hope. -jamison covington
